Don West is an indie soul singer from Sydney, Australia. West was raised on the northern beaches (Manly beach specifically). His first steps on the path to a musical career was when he joined a band his brother was playing in, indie folk band . He worked as a male model whilst playing music and in 2019 teamed up with producer Kesmar () of and started playing solo with a backing band. He moved to a more classic soul sound. He has since headlined shows across Australia and played the US and in Europe.
